All about Sullivan
This sweet boy arrived in our care on Aug 16 and is now ready to find his forever family.  He is an energetic boy who is young for his age, and is super adorable.  He has nice house manners, is friendly and affectionate, and will make a great companion for someone looking for a buddy to hang around with.

He previously lived with another male Newf and the pair got along well so he could join a home with another dog, or he would be equally happy being the only dog.  He has also lived peacefully with cats.

Sully does not enjoy being around young kids who are running about near him, or pestering him.  He is best suited to an adult only home.
Skin on intake
On arrival Sullivan was showing some skin issues that have been a chronic seasonal problem, as well as a very severe painful ear infection.  In consultation with a skin specialist we have cleared his infections and have him feeling loads better.   Hooray!

Sulli will require some ongoing medication and topical treatments to prevent the recurrence of issues throughout his life, but with preventative steps in place he should do very well.

He is a very sweet boy who is super friendly and affectionate, and will make a great companion for the right family.

Given his need for ongoing medication our usual adoption fee will be waived and we ask instead for an adoption donation of his adopter's choice.

To be considered for adopting a dog through Newf Friends please submit a completed application, which can be found on the CONTACT US/FORMS page. Before completing an application or emailing us with questions, please review our FAQ page.  As outlined on our FAQ page, applicants who do not meet our adoption requirements (ie. no fenced play area, living in an apartment building, having young children, etc.) will not be considered -- please do not email us asking us to make an exception.
