May 13, 2011: Ace has an adoption pending!

This gorgeous fella is just about ready to join an adoptive family! Maybe you will be the lucky people who get to adopt him?

Ace is pretty much perfect -- he is friendly, well mannered, and a total love bug. He has a wagging tail, a smiling face, and loves his stuffed ducky! He gets along with most other dogs and would do fine joining a family with a well mannered, well socialized dog, or would be equally happy as an only dog.

Ace has known much love in his life, and came from a caring family who were heartbroken to have to make the decision to turn him over to us. Unfortunately, despite their extensive efforts, their life circumstances made it impossible for them to meet Ace's medical needs, and so they decided to do what was best for their special boy and surrender him.

Ace arrived in our care in rough shape, covered in skin infections across much of his body, including his feet. Thanks to the exceptional care of Dr. Janice Selinger, Bridle Trail Veterinary Clinic, Ace is now happy, healthy and ready to join a new family. Some basic management should prevent flare-up of any issues. He takes some probiotics to keep his belly happy, and has some cream to keep his skin in good shape.

Ace will be celebrating his 5th birthday this spring, is neutered, UTD on vaccines and absolutely adorable! He is healing from having surgery on his eyes to correct the entropion and is ready to join a new family any time now.

To be considered as his adoptive home, please complete an adoption application and return it to us.
Since Ace will require some maintenance to maintain his health, a reduced adoption donation of $400 applies.
