Monsieur Plume

Monsieur Plume
# 3376
Jan. 3-11: M. Plume has a pending adoption.

Say hello to Monsieur Plume (his friends call him Jake.) This handsome boy is a sweet love bug who is looking for his perfect family to love him, give him lots of attention and spend lots of time with him. Jake was rescued from an unfortunate situation and this sweet boy is looking for a special family to call his own. Lacking in experience, Jake will need some time to learn all about living indoors, and how to be a well mannered boy. He has a lovely, gentle temperament, and he wants to please, so will be quick to learn.

Jake needs to learn basic commands, and to be given an opportunity to be exposed to new things. His foster family will be working on this in the coming weeks. He will benefit from obedience classes not only to learn commands, but also to help build his confidence and help him bond with his adoptive family. Having been through a difficult time, Jake is understandably stressed with all of the changes in his life and new experiences. His gentle, sweet nature shines through, and in no time he will blossom into a wonderful boy.
Jake will benefit from the care of a family that will take him out and about to explore the world and learn all about new things. He has lots of energy to burn off, and is best suited to an active family that like to get out and do things with their dog.
He was housed with other dogs in his past home, and he is getting along well with the other dogs and cats in his foster home. Jake should be adopted into a family with another well socialized dog, he really takes comfort in the company of other dogs.
Jake was born on February 28, 2009 so he's now about 21 months old. He has been neutered and is up to date on vaccines.

He will be ready to join a family in a few weeks time, around the end of December, once he has healed from his neuter surgery.

An adoption donation of $500 applies.
Jake is in foster care in the Guelph, Ontario area. His approved adopters will be required to pick him up in person.
